ITO:
From Radio-name: “Ryuu-Kakka-san” Thank you! “Ito-san, Asumi-san, Cho~rasu!”
ASUMI:
Chorasasu!
ITO:
“Yes! Asumisu!”
ASUMI:
Yesasasumisu!
ITO:
What? Why aren’t you saying it right?
ASUMI:
What?
ITO:
I see. You’re going to be like that.
ASUMI:
It’s fine!
ITO:
Okay. Um… “I heard you two were” Huh? “good at impressions…”
ASUMI:
What’s wrong?
ITO:
“Please perform your best impressions for each other. I’m sure you’ll enjoy Ito-san’s Toyosaki-san, and Asumisu’s Iguchi Yuka-san impression.”
ASUMI:
This email has a lot of mistakes! Where did this misinformation come from? Kanae are you good at impressons?
ITO:
I’m not! Are you?
ASUMI:
No!
ITO:
I’m not good.
ASUMI:
They’re wrong.
ITO:
We’re not good! What do we do?
ASUMI:
Is this some sort of setup?
ITO:
Have you ever tried?
ASUMI:
Never!
ITO:
I did do an Aki-chan impression one time.
ASUMI:
Really? Go ahead!
ITO:
Well, before my show started, There was a “Girls” commercial playing, and I heard Aki-chan and decided to give it a try! I did it once!
ASUMI:
Say it! Say it! Do it! Do it!
ITO:
No, I can’t do that. Okay! Okay! If I do it, then will you do an Iguchi Yuka impression?
ASUMI:
If you do it, I’ll do it!
ITO:
Well, I guess, um what should I do?
ASUMI: If we both do it we’ll be in it together, right?
ITO:
What should I do!
ASUMI:
You did it once before, right?
ITO:
I did, but I apologized to Aki-chan fans right away! [*laughter*]
ASUMI:
So you said you were sorry before…
ITO:
Before they got mad.
ASUMI:
It’ll be fine! I’m sure Aki-chan fans have big hearts.
ITO:
Will it really be okay?
ASUMI:
It’ll be fine! It’ll be fine!
ITO:
Just the feeling, just the feeling, okay!
ASUMI:
Okay!
ITO:
“Everyone~, Hokkori!~” -I can’t! [*laughter*] No more! I don’t like the mood here!
ASUMI:
Everyone’s so kind! They’re very kind. They’re saying it was good!
ITO:
Really?
ASUMI:
The feeling, right? The feeling.
ITO:
It’s pretty hard!
ASUMI:
Okay, me. It’s my turn now.
ITO:
Iguchi Yuka-san…
ASUMI:
This might be okay for people who know Iguchi. Well let’s give it a shot. Here goes! My Iguchi Yuka impression: “Moko-tan! Moko-tan!”
ITO:
That’s it? That’s it?
ASUMI:
Look, look! Everyones supposed to fall on the floor when they hear that part! I think they understood, but this response… Well, I think they get it. For some reason “Moko-tan” is what Iguchi Yuka-chan calls me.
ITO:
Really?
ASUMI:
Yeah.
ITO:
Why?
ASUMI:
I don’t know!
ITO:
Where did “Moko-tan” come from?
ASUMI:
It doesn’t come from anywhere! It’s not from anywhere. But I think it’s like this. At first she called me ‘Asumin’. In the beginning. Then for some reason ‘Asumin’ became ‘Asumon’.
ITO:
‘Asumon’? Why did it become ‘Mon?’
ASUMI:
No idea! Ask Iguchi!
ITO:
Could it be because one of you liked something-mon or something…
ASUMI:
I don’t think it was anything like that. It was totally unrelated. And then from ‘Asumon’ it became ‘Asumokkori’. And then the ‘Asu’ disappeared..
ITO:
That’s the important part!
ASUMI:
And from the beginning of “Mokkori” it turned into ‘Moko-tan’
ITO:
At least it didn’t stop at Mokkori!
ASUMI:
That’s true! That’s true! Very good positive thinking there! Thank you!
ITO:
But why did it get cut off like that?
ASUMI:
Ask Iguchi that! I don’t understand that girl at all! ‘Moko-tan’!
ITO:
Moko-tan… Moko-tan is kind of cute though.
ASUMI:
Moko-tan? Well it sounds kind of like that anime character, right?
ITO:
Really?
ASUMI:
Enough, enough.

Please click here to start from part one
Eri Kitamura (KitaEri), Aki Toyosaki:
KITAMURA: So, you have to do the worst hoarse voice you can think of, while singing Kanamemo’s, “Mankai na” or “Nan kai na”
TOYOSAKI: It’s “Mankai”
KITAMURA: I might have heard it wrong, but singing one whole verse should be good.
TOYOSAKI: In a hoarse voice.
KITAMURA: This voice has to be one where noone listening to your performance could love you. It’s not like “Oh maybe KitaEri might change her mind!”
TOYOSAKI: Come on! So not like Kana’s voice, right.
KITAMURA: Okay. They’re standing by with the music. Let’s get started. Aki-chan’s hoarse voiced “Kimi he to Tsunagu Kokoro” version. Go!
TOYOSAKI: [*laughter*] This is embarrassing. What is this?
KITAMURA: Wow. This is the first time I’ve watched someone do karaoke on the radio.
TOYOSAKI: Oh it already started?
KITAMURA: ♫My De~ar♫
TOYOSAKI: Ah that was the hook?
KITAMURA: That was it.
TOYOSAKI: Oh it was right at the start. One more time?
KITAMURA: So now you know. Okay, without delay, it’s Aki-chan’s penalty game. Let’s go!
[*♫(I’m not doing the lyrics but please enjoy the song)♫*]
TOYOSAKI: Was that good enough?
KITAMURA: I’m totally losing it here, so yes it was good enough.
Kanamemo Radio Aki Toyosaki Penalty Game, Part 1 (2:39)
Eri Kitamura (KitaEri), Aki Toyosaki:
KITAMURA: Shashashasha! It’s time for Aki-chan’s Penalty Game! Shashashaha! Please click here to continue to part 2
TOYOSAKI: Barrier! Barrier! Barrier!
KITAMURA: Last time Aki-chan’s Penalty Game point count reached 4 points, so “You’re going to do a penalty game now, Kana!”
TOYOSAKI: Barrier! Barrier! Barrier!
KITAMURA: The penalty game details are going to be chosen right now by random drawing. Let’s introduce…
TOYOSAKI: There are slips there…
KITAMURA: You might have thought that by looking beforehand you’d know what they are,
TOYOSAKI: I don’t know!
KITAMURA: So I’m going to crumple them up. Wooo. Wooo. Wooo.
TOYOSAKI: So, this will decide the details.
KITAMURA: They’ll be decided. I was just about to introduce them. The details on these slips are, first: “Even though it’s the last episode, you can’t talk.”
TOYOSAKI: No!
KITAMURA: Next: “You have to end all your sentences with “Daijoubu~i!”
TOYOSAKI: Every one?
KITAMURA: Every one. Hmm, probably, every time you miss I’ll have to cut you off and move to the next topic.
TOYOSAKI: No!
KITAMURA: Here’s another one: “You have to go down the local AM/PM, the convenience store, as KitaEri’s gofer and pick me up a few things”
TOYOSAKI: Well, if it’s for KitaEri…
KITAMURA: Actually, that’s what’s written but, probably the staff will say “Uh wait, Toyosaki-san is the talent, you can’t, uh please don’t make her fetch anything.” They’ll be upset. They wrote it but actually they’ll be upset.
TOYOSAKI: That wouldn’t be good.
KITAMURA: One more: “Something terrible thought up by KitaEri!”
TOYOSAKI: That’s the scariest one!
KITAMURA: Hold on. Hold on.
TOYOSAKI: Hey, I can see the slips! This is pointless if I can see them.
KITAMURA: Wait. Oh which one went in here! Ah. That one! Ah.
TOYOSAKI: Hey, you’re having a lot of fun aren’t you!
KITAMURA: I think you should take this one, but..
TOYOSAKI: Wait, I’m supposed to draw one
KITAMURA: Yes, you has to take one.
TOYOSAKI: Is this one good?
KITAMURA: That’s KitaEri’s recommendation, but you can pick any of them.
TOYOSAKI: Not being able to talk for the last episode would be really bad. Really.
KITAMURA: It would. So, Aki-chan, have you decided? That one? Are you sure?
TOYOSAKI: Yes…
KITAMURA: Tada! Go ahead.
TOYOSAKI: Here’s the announcement. My penalty game is… “Something terrible thought up by KitaEri!”
Aki Toyosaki:
So, yesterday, when I was watching TV, a certain comedian said, “I’ve made an amazing discovery.” The comedian said, “Japanese is an amazing language. In elementary school, the first thing you study is ‘A I U E O’ (あいうえお), isn’t it? And the first one you learn is ‘a’ (あ), right? And next you learn ‘i’ (い), right? So that means the very first thing that Japanese kids learn is ‘ai’… (愛, love).”
Ah, wonderful! Well, it seemed like it sort of bombed with the audience on the TV, but I was like, “Ah, ah, that’s great, that’s so great!”
Aki Toyosaki:
From Okaeri-name: “STS”-san, I think that’s right, thank you. “Aki-san, tadaima” Okaeri! “This is my first mail.” Thank you!
“Something I did for my summer free research project once was: ‘What would happen if I kept eating watermelon every day?’” I wonder what happened.. “What happened was, around the second week my stomach started to feel bad. By the end of summer vacation I lost 8kg. Finally, my teacher got mad at me for doing that and made me do the project over. That was the summer when I decided I shouldn’t do that sort of thing anymore.”
[*laughter*] That’s heartbreaking!
Warning: Contains FFIV Spoilers.
Aki Toyosaki:
Recently, I was playing Final Fantasy IV. Is it okay if I talk about this for a minute? So, In Final Fantasy IV, your starting main character is this guy called a dark knight. I thought this was really great! So going with that situation, in that area, I decided to aim for a level. For example you could try to get to level 13. Well, I definitely wanted to go to that level plus around ten more levels before moving on. So I stayed back for a long time. And with that dark knight character I kept fighting and resting until he was up to around level 45 or 50.
Then I climbed Mt. Ordeals. You have to climb it to go forward in the story. But if you climb it, your job changes to a paladin. It’s like a knight, like the opposite of a dark knight is a holy knight. So it changed to that. Also, his level went back to 1!!!… By the way, when your job changes you go back to level 1… There’s an event like that. So, that was a big shock. Since then, Final Fantasy IV has been kind of sealed away. But, I want to do it. With the paladin. I want to defeat Golbez!
Previously.
Aki Toyosaki, Yoko Hikasa, Satomi Satou, Minako Kotobuki:

Tokosaki: Singing.
Satou: Sing.
Hikasa: I’m sorry!
